New size gears from DarkSoul Racing, 18-56 and 20-54. Still high strength alloy steel, heat treated for long life, and still weighing in at under 160g for the spur gear. Probably the last gear set you will ever need.
A few new products, these are for the 1/10 electric Short Course trucks.
The first up are the oversized battery strap nuts for the HPI Blitz, these replace the stock nuts that are quite small and easily lost. The DS battery nuts are made from 6061 aluminum and are roughly twice the size of the stock units for better grip, and easier to find when in a rush.
Second up is a weight system designed to add more ballast to the rear end of your HPI Blitz, Associated SC10 or Traxxas Slash. The same kit will work in all 3. The kit will contain all mounting hardware (you will need to drill a single M3 hole in the SC10 or Blitz) and 4.5 ounces of weight, four 1oz. weights, and one 1/2 oz. weight so you can add as much as needed for the running conditions.
First large scale race at NorCal Hobbies is this weekend April 3rd. Kevin has worked his magic and redesigned the 8th scale track to accommodate large scale rigs. The track is technical and a lot of fun, a real drivers track.
